Aishwarya Rajesh is a popular Indian actress who has worked in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. She started her career as a presenter in the TV show ‘Asatha Povathu Yaaru?’. Aishwarya Rajesh was born on 10 January 1990 in Chennai, into a Telugu film family. Her father Rajesh was an actor and her mother Nagamani was a dancer. Her grandfather Amarnath was also a Telugu actor. She is the youngest of four siblings, two of whom died at a young age. Aishwarya grew up in Chennai and studied at Shrine Vailankanni, Sri Vidyaniketan International School in Tirupati and Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. After completing her schooling, she completed her B.com degree from Ithiraj College for Women.
She worked in films as a student, working as a child actress in the Telugu film ‘Rambantu‘. She then worked in the TV show ‘Manada Mayilada’ and later started working as a TV presenter. Although the actress’s current net worth is not known, she is said to charge around 1 crore Indian rupees per film, but depending on the film, she is also said to charge 2-3 crore rupees.

Aishwarya started her career as a presenter in the TV show ‘Asathapovathu Yaaru’. She made her film debut in 2011 with the movie ‘Avargalum Evergalum’. She first acted in the film ‘Avargalum Evergalum’, but her film ‘Indrasena’ was released first. She was then seen in the films ‘Attakathi’ in 2012, ‘Rami’ in 2014 and ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’. In late 2014, she acted in the song ‘Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Yakkam’. Her first breakthrough in her career came with the film ‘Kaka Muttai’. For her good performance in this film, the actress was awarded the Tamil Nadu State Film Award and Filmfare Award in the Best Actress category.
2016 – 2022
In 2016, she released 6 films, including ‘Aarathu Sinam’, ‘Hello Naan Pei Pesuren’, ‘Manithaan’ and ‘Dharma Durai’, which were box office successes. In 2017, she acted in another successful film ‘Daddy’, which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in Malayalam. Her films ‘Lakshmi’ and ‘Saamy’, which released in early 2018, were flops. After that, she acted in the films ‘Chekka Chivantha Bhanam‘, ‘Vada Chennai’ and ‘Kana’. All 3 films were the highest grossers and she won the second Filmfare Best Actress category. In 2020, her first film ‘Bhanam Kottuttum’ was released and she won the SIIMA Critics Award – Telugu in the Best Actress category for her good performance. After that, she worked in ‘Ka Paay Ranasingam’. The film won her the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Tamil. In 2021, ‘Thittam Iranduthe’ was released, in 2022, ‘Driver Yamuna’ was released.
