Virat is an Indian Kannada actor who is better known as Karthik S. Kumar. He also works in television along with acting. He rose to fame with the television series ‘Jothe Jotheyali’ in 2015. Later, he made his film debut with the movie ‘Kiss’ in 2019.

Early Life
Virat was born on 11 March 1995 in Mysore, Kannada. He grew up there since childhood. He had a deep interest in acting. During his graduation, he joined the Rangayan Theatre Group in Mysore and trained in acting. As a result, he was able to work in 35 plays. This experience gave him the opportunity to work in the TV show “Jothe Jotheali“.
Acting Career
After finishing the ‘Tele’-series, he got the opportunity to work on the big screen for the first time in the movie ‘Kiss’ directed by A. P. Arjan in 2019. The movie was a box office hit. After that, the Arjan-Virat duo worked on the movie ‘Adhuri Lover’ in 2021, although the movie was not released. In 2025, the movie ‘Royal’ starring Virat was released.
