Srinagar Kitty is a Kannada actor who has worked in television serials and films. Although he is known by the name Srinagar Kitty, his real name is Krishna. He entered the Kannada film industry in 2003 with the movie ‘Chandra Chakori’. Before that, he worked in television serials. He got a chance to work as a lead actor in ‘Inthi Ninna Prithiya’, which was released in 2008. His notable movies are: ‘Mungaru’ (2010), ‘Savari’ (2009), ‘Hudugaru’ (2011) and ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ (2011).

Family Background
Srinagar Kitty was born in born 8 July 1977 at a joint family in the state of Kannada. He is the last child of his parents. He is married to TV producer Bhavana Belagere. As such, he is the son-in-law of famous writer, journalist and TV presenter Ravi Belagere.
Acting Career
In Televisson
Kitty started his acting career as a child artist with TV serials like ‘Malanadina Chobigalu‘, ‘Doddame’, ‘Kandana’ Kavya. He has also acted in some dramas like ‘Kaadu’, ‘Kappe Bhabhi Nakshatra’, ‘Akka’, ‘Namma Nimmagalobba’, ‘Sanjeh Mallige’.
After completing her studies, he worked in some notable TV serials like ‘Chandrika’, ‘Prithigagi’, ‘Anand Sagar’, ‘Mone Mone Katha’ and ‘Bhoomi’.
In Film
He made his debut in the Kannada film industry in 2003 with the movie ‘Chandra Chakorir’. After that, movies like ‘Gaudu’, ‘Love Story’, ‘Aadhi’, ‘Aaya’ and ‘Vishnu Sena’ were released in 2005.
He rose to stardom after working in the movies ‘Giri’ and ‘Inthi Ninna Prithiya’. After that, he acted in the movies ‘Olaveh Jiban Lekkachara’, ‘Janumada Gelathi’, ‘Mathe Mungaru’, ‘Savari’, ‘Male Barali Manju Erali’, ‘Swayambara’, ‘Sanju Weds Geeta‘ and ‘Hudugaru’. Out of which the movies ‘Sanju Weds Geeta’ and ‘Hudugaru’ were commercially successful. He received the Filmfare Special Jury Award for his performance in Savari. He lent his voice to the character of Lord Ram in a radio show called Radio Ramayan which was broadcast on FM. In 2014, he played three characters in the movie ‘Bahuparak’ and also sang a song.
